Join Stryker, a multi award-winning business, as Commercial Manager for our largest business division. This role sits between the Joint Replacement & Mako sales, Commercial & Pricing team to achieve their financial objectives.
Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, the successful Commercial Manager will partner with Directors within Mako sales division, Commercial & Pricing to deliver insightful business intelligence and strategic outcomes, leading a strategic financial vision.
This is a strategic role, we are looking for an experienced commercial manager, with extensive sales and marketing business partnering experience. This person will have sound knowledge with market trends, margin analysis and deal specific experience.
Managing and delegating to a team of one, this successful candidate will bring direct leadership experience with a desire to manage a bigger team in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic future planning and analysis of Mako deals
- Historic analysis of Mako performance
- Buying group reviews of Mako placements
- Optimising major buying group sales & profitability via supporting the Commercial and pricing team (CPA) to structure and sell-in ‘win-win’ deals and preferred supplier agreements
- Commercial Tenders proposals and pricing insights and review across SSP
- Mako and buying group sales dashboard and performance tracking vs quota
- Support preparation of routine major buying group business reviews, including margin and profitability review, ROI tracking and review of strategic impacts across business
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- P&L control, analysis and insight across Mako and CPA
- Drive collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Business Services
- Understand and effectively communicate impact of financial (and non-financial) actions to stakeholders.
- Business Partnering
- Commercial focus and financial acumen
- Excellent Excel and Powerbi skills
- Accounting/finance experience and exposure to financial reporting is essential
- Sales and marketing data analytics
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience working for an ASX listed business, ideally within FMCG or other fast paced, growth industries
- CPA or CA qualified
