We're seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations and ensure the success of our projects. With your expertise and strategic vision, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability and driving sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Lead the negotiation, review, and management of contracts to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the financial viability of our projects.
- Cost Control: Implement robust cost control measures to optimize project budgets and minimize expenses. Your strategic approach will contribute to maximizing profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Revenue Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance project revenue through value engineering, change management, and contract variations. Your ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining client satisfaction will be instrumental in our success.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to assess project viability and identify financial risks and opportunities. Your insights will support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Claims Management: Effectively manage claims and disputes to protect our interests and minimize financial liabilities. Your proactive approach will help safeguard project profitability and reputation.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial management, with a proven track record of managing projects totalling at least $500 million in Design & Construction (D&C) contracts.
- Specialized Knowledge: Experience in electrical transmission projects is preferred, with specific experience with Transgrid or NSW Government projects highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information to drive informed decisions.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favourable terms and resolve commercial disputes.
