The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Sales Executive to join the Sealy team in Victoria. Based in Melbourne, reporting to the Commercial Key Account Manager and Victorian General Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of Commercial Sales strategies to achieve long-term sales and profit growth and grow our commercial market share, mainly in Regional Victoria and some greater Melbourne. Whilst our office is based in Keysborough, the ideal candidate must also be prepared to travel on the road to VIC Regional Centres, week on week. 

An important part of this role is identifying opportunities, sourcing new clients and sales growth in these regions, whilst establishing and developing relationships with Developers, Property Owners, Hotel GM’s, Housekeeping Teams, Commercial Architects, and Interior Designers. 

An ideal candidate would have a background in Sales, experience working with Major Hotel Brands or selling into and working with the Hotel accommodation Industry. 

Key responsibilities Include 

• Account sales development and management 
• Strategic territory management 
• Developing strong relationships with hospitality / accommodation partners 
• Ability to achieve (and exceed) budgets and strategic objectives

The ideal candidate will understand the importance of relationship building and have a keen interest in premium consumer goods. To be considered:

• Significant sales experience in retail or branded consumer products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills   
• Relationship development skills and time management skills
• Confident Microsoft Application skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work without supervision in a team environment
• Must be able to travel extensively
• Must be prepared to spend time away overnight
