About the Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for electricians to join our Commercial service team, specialising in installations and maintenance, based at Brisbane, Enoggera.  

Your role will be responsible for:  

• Being an integral member of an electrical and communications team dedicated towards quality workmanship.
• Compliant and safe installation of electrical and communications systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret plans, schematics and technical diagrams.
• Quality completion of electrical and communications project related tasks within expected timeframes.
• Autonomous delivery of minor fit-out works as needed e.g., power and data fit outs, switchboard retrofits and upgrades. 
• Provide outstanding service and solutions to key clients, whilst ensuring a high level of communication is maintained at all times.
• Installation testing, fault-finding and certification.
• Direct, coach and train apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Maintain regular communication with your team and supervisors.

Essential skills for this role include:  

• Demonstrated experience within the electrical and communications commercial sector.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Unwavering commitment to electrical standards and regulations and safe work practices.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment, playing an active role within the broader team.

Required Qualifications 

• Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence 
• Construction Safety White Card  
• Current C Class Drivers’ Licence (manual) 

Advantageous Qualifications 

• Communications and Data Cabling Licence with endorsements
• High Risk Work Licence, including EWP and Scissor  
• Working at Heights Certificate  
• AC Split System ticket - but not essential. Training course can be provided.
