Our client's firm is a boutique law firm delivering specialist advice to our valued clients. They are recognized industry leaders in the areas of commercial disputes, insolvency and trade credit insurance and surety. Their offices are based in the central business districts of Sydney and Melbourne.
The Role
We currently have an opportunity for experienced Commercial/Insolvency litigators in their Sydney office who wish to develop their career by undertaking high-quality legal work within a team of talented litigators in a collegiate environment.
The opportunities have arisen due to a strong pipeline of work ahead for the firm.
The successful candidates will be involved in a variety of interesting and challenging commercial disputes representing our clients across a number of industries including, restructuring and insolvency, technology and insurance.
Key Responsibilities
To be successful in this position you will have:
3+ years PQE
a strong academic record
previous commercial litigation and insolvency experience from a respected firm
strong technical skills, including drafting of pleadings, letters of advice and general correspondence
exceptional communication skills, and in particular have the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders within our client's organisations
the ability to undertake carriage of matters autonomously under the supervision of Directors and Special Counsel
have the ability and desire to participate in business development initiatives and/or have your own client following.
