Form of workAn exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Full Time Commis Chef to join the Stones Corner Hotel in it's brand new kitchen.
As a Stones Corner Chef you will be an integral part of our kitchen team. You will be a passionate team member within our business, with strong communication and organisational abilities, and bring with you the ability to be a part of a dedicated team.
Maintain strict hygiene and safety procedures and follow procedures in accordance with stipulated departmental and hotel policies. Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume restaurant or Hotel environment preferable but not necessary.
The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:
Experience working in a hands on environment including bistro style, a la carte, restaurant and function dining kitchens
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Performing duties in line with the qualifications already attained
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet
AVAILABILITY for weekday, night, weekend & split shifts is a must
