Commis Chef/Chef De Partie & Kitchen Hands

Commis Chef/Chef de Partie and Kitchen Hand/s required for busy cafe/pizzeria/bistro in Ocean Reef.

We are looking for people who are highly motivated and passionate about food to join a small team offering breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and dinner 5 nights. The Commis chef’s duties will include:

• Preparing menu and cabinet items
• Cooking fresh food to the highest of standards
• Complying with food and safety regulations and working in a clean and tidy manner
• Supporting the senior chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen
• Work closely & harmoniously with the front of house team creating a happy work environment

Full time preferred but part-time considered.

We are also looking for a kitchen hand/s to join the team. Responsibilities will include washing up, prepping sandwiches and assisting our chefs, maintaining cleanliness and following all food hygiene and environmental health standards. Experience is preferred but passion for providing great food and service with a smile is essential and full training will be provided. Flexible working hours available for the right candidate/s.

Again, we'd prefer full-time candidates, working to a roster to be agreed, but part-time candidates considered.
