The organisation we are proud to call our client is a leading Mechanical contractor in the Perth market. Boasting some of the most notable projects across Australia in the past 15 years they are an exceptional company to move your career forward with. Right now, due to continued growth in the Perth office, they are looking for the services of a proven commissioning Engineer or HVAC service technician who can progress to a commissioning manager role in the medium term.
The Role on offer
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your role as Commissioning engineer will be to bring systems online, test and tag and ensure that they are operating within guidelines.
- You will document your activities and ensure the building is ready for handover to the client or facilities manager. Your role will see you working across the Perth metro area in both large and small projects.
- You will be working with one of the most professional Mechanical Contractors in the market and can expect to be working with a high calibre team
It is expected that the person in this role will progress to a commissioning manager position over time.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- A mechanical certification and a white card.
- Full working rights in Australia - Holiday VISA not applicable for this role
- A minimum of 3 years commissioning experience in HVAC / Building services projects with a Mechanical Contractor OR You are a HVAC service technician who wants to get into the construction side of the industry.
- You are trustworthy and reliable
- You are a team player and like to work in and be a valued member of a team
- Excellent documentation skills using MS Project
- You have a valid drivers licence
