Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Business Design Director, you will be responsible for redesigning the entire experience across the board for a key financial services client.
- Design Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented designers to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Leverage your proven leadership experience to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and growth within the design team.
- User-Centric Design: Combine your hands-on expertise in UX/UI craft with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviour as well as UI/Visual Craft. Drive the creation of intuitive and elegant design solutions that resonate with our diverse user base.
- Design Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define design strategies that align with business objectives. Translate business goals into compelling design concepts and user experiences.
- Client Engagement: Utilise your outstanding client management skills to understand client needs, build strong relationships, and communicate design solutions effectively. If you lack prior client management experience, our company is committed to up skilling you in this vital area.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies. Continuously evolve and enhance our design processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing design teams, ideally in an enterprise environment. Leadership/client management experience is a strong plus, but if you're lacking in this area, the company is dedicated to providing the necessary training.
- Design Expertise: A portfolio showcasing your exceptional skills in UX/UI design. Your ability to effectively communicate design concepts and strategies is essential.
- UI Visual Craft: you are someone who loves to be creative, focusing on the future state horizon and designing beautiful and sophisticated designs
- Strategic Mindset: Strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to align design strategies with these goals.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Commercial experience working with multiple industries/clients will be helpful but not essential.
