The Opportunity

Due to a consistent rate of growth, we are looking for a highly skilled Commissioning Officer to join our experienced team. In this role you will commission, test and maintain HV electrical systems by carrying out pre-commissioning tests of new and refurbished systems within substations. 

This opportunity is available to interstate applicants who are open to relocating to NSW or willing to travel. Relocation assistance is available.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transformer testing
  • Control panels
  • Primary injection testing
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Commissioning primary and secondary equipment within a substation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Qualification in either Electrical Engineering, Associate Diploma or an Electrical Trade
  • Demonstrated site based experience working on a roster with the willingness to travel to rural areas
  • Experience with High Voltage equipment will be highly regarded yet not essential
  • Flexibility to travel and work on a roster
  • Australian Drivers Licence
