Bechtel Mining and Metals are searching for a high performing Communication Specialist to join our Mining business.  This role will be offered on a full-time permanent basis and located at either our Brisbane or Perth offices.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications manager, your role will be required to write, develop and improve communications materials and reports that clearly and effectively tell our story of successful project development and execution in Australia. 
 
What You Bring:

-Proven experience in similar role, ideally within the engineering and construction industry.
-Tertiary qualified in communications, writing, journalism or similar discipline.
-Strong technical knowledge and critical analytical skills including problem solving, decision making and interpretation skills.
-Excellent written, literacy and verbal communication skills, the ability to extract and rephrase information to produce accurate, complete, and concise report documentation.
-Demonstrated willingness to cover new products, technologies, methods and systems
-Good interpersonal skills within a close team environment and an ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
