Communications Advisor A04

Osborne Richardson are seeking applications from experienced Communications Advisors to join our State Government client, located on the Sunshine Coast.

Your Role:

As a Communications Officer, you'll be an integral part of the Stakeholder Management Business Unit within the Stakeholder and Issues Management team. Your primary responsibility will involve researching and drafting responses to ministerial and executive correspondence. Exceptional skills in stakeholder and customer management, as well as in relationship building and maintenance, are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide timely and accurate communications advice and correspondence support to regional staff using various communication tools.
Coordinate, research, draft, and edit communications materials, including responses to ministerial and executive correspondence, briefing notes, media statements, and speech notes.
Conduct community engagement and stakeholder consultation activities during project development and delivery as needed.
Update and maintain the content of regional webpages to ensure alignment with projects and initiatives.
Offer training, advice, and support to regional staff and consultants to ensure consistency, enhance communication skills, and improve relationships with key stakeholders and the community.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Senior Communications Advisor (Stakeholder and Issues Management).

Working Hours:

Maximum of 38 hours per week between 7 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
Maximum of 8 hours per day in a 5-day week during TMR Business Hours (0700-1800), unless otherwise agreed by the Customer in advance and in writing.
