- Planning, developing, managing, implementing and evaluating strategic and tactical campaigns within the Sport and Recreation section that supports the City of Mandurah’s Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Plan, Recreation Centres and Services strategies and business objectives
- Providing advice on strategic and tactical communications on new and major projects to support the achievement of business unit objectives
- Developing, managing and evaluating new and business as usual campaigns within the Sport and Recreation section.
- A degree in Communications or related area
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service and relationship building skills
- Well-developed strategic communications development skills
- Well-developed planning, campaign, and brand management skills
- Sound understanding of media issues
- Strong digital communications skills
- Experience and knowledge of marketing and communications strategies
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
