About the Role
The Industry Growth Program (the program) was announced as part of the 2023/2024 May budget. The program supports innovative start-ups and high-growth potential small and medium enterprises (SMEs) undertaking commercialisation and growth projects in National Reconstruction Fund (NRF) priority areas. This role will be a part of the Advisory Services Team.
Duties of the role
- Creating program promotional material
- Drafting Talking Points, Q&A's, and standard words for government.
- Implementing the IGP Comms Strategy including support for ministerial announcements and visits.
- Supporting IGP Advisers attending business and industry forums to market the program.
- Facilitating Adhoc comms requests such as writing bio's for Adviser profiles, drafting case studies to showcase program achievements, ordering promotional material etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in Communications in a government environment (referring to guidelines, formatting requirements, ministerial preferences etc.)
What's on offer
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 5 month hourly rate contract at the APS6 level (with a view to extend). This position can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth.
As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens will be considered for this vacancy.
