About the role
Using your expertise, you will support the project and operational teams by delivering a range of communications and engagement activities, such as:
- Develop and execute innovative communication strategies for both external and internal customer communications for the project.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and accessible written content for web, customer communications, and social media.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Provide end-to-end support for communications activities, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Regularly update and report on communication activities to stakeholders and relevant working groups.
- Coordinate with external vendors to produce high-quality communication materials.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and implementing communication projects in a customer and services industry environment.
- Experience with social media and web content writing.
- Proven ability working in a dynamic team environment to meet deadlines delivering projects and actions on time and within budget.
- A high level of written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant qualification in marketing or communications (equivalent experience will be considered).
- An understanding of essential services, the utility sector and emergency/crisis communications.
- Portfolio or examples of work that align to the requirements of the role.
