Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. - Design, repair, and installation of communication equipment i.e. network links, DMR, fib optics, structure cabling, tele-remote systems, collision awareness systems.
- Programming Motorola digital radios and repeaters.
- Commissioning of new communication technology introduced to the site.
- Fault-finding diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks. Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and OTDR necessary.

- Committed to working safely with integration into very work practice and ownership of safety responsibility for self, work colleagues and visitors.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certificate III in Electronics and Communications

- First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- High-Risk licence (Forklift, Doggers and Riggers) desirable
