- $800-1300 per day plus super!

In this role you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative resilience and engagement strategies. Your focus will be on driving community-led adaptation planning, awareness campaigns, and preparedness initiatives to ensure a resilient future for the Northern Rivers.
What is involved:
- Lead the development of community resilience approaches, leveraging resources and maximising efficiencies.
- Implement a community-led adaptation program in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Conduct socio-spatial analysis, assess impacts, and develop social impact assessments.
- Oversee project development and implementation, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and effectively manage project teams.
- Establish Governance to help deliver projects.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation strategies to assess project effectiveness.
- Ideally you will have a background in one or more of the following: Government, policy, climate change adaptation, risk reduction, disaster risk reduction, environmental science or general science background, social science or geography.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience in program design and establishment.
- Governance experience.
- Policy analysis experience.
- If you’re based outside of the Northern Rivers you will need to be able to attend the office at least once a month for 2-3 days minimum.
