The position to be based within the Parkes / Forbes / Young / Cowra / Gundagai or Wagga Wagga, etc, area covering the Murrumbidgee Lachlan territory.

A Business Development Manager works to improve an organisation’s market position and achieve financial growth. The role involves assisting in defining the organisation’s business generation goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
The role works closely with Just Better Care Australia’s Business Development team and their franchisee to increase opportunities, thereby maximising revenue for their franchise by finding potential customers, presenting to them, ultimately converting them into customers.
The Business Development Manager will also support in the role of Case Manage to existing customers and ensure they stay satisfied and positive during onset of growth. They call on customers, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their customers’ future needs
Main Duties
Maintaining and Supporting the current customers and staff across the Murrumbidgee Lachlan area whilst growing the business and team.
Prospect for new customers by networking, cold calling, presentations, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential customers.
Develop a rapport with new customers, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to customers.
Support and grow the organisations team across the area.
Whilst growing the team of Community Care staff /Case Managers and Nurses.
Essential Criteria
Current and clear Criminal Record Check
Experienced sales professional with a history of new Business Development within the sector
Sales / persuasiveness ability and negotiation skills suitable in Community Care
Knowledge of Community Care / Case Management … Home Care Packages and Private Care
Willingness to be a team member and share knowledge
Willingness to get INTO and ON with the Job!
Ability to work autonomously within the area as well as in a team with the wide company team
Planning, Time Management and Computer skills
Willingness to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
Willingness to work with team colleagues in the South West Sydney area and other JBC locations across NSW, ACT and Victoria as well and take part in in JBCA national initiatives
Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Clear Drivers Licence

Desirable
Previous employment experience in the health/aged care, for and not for profit, community services sector.
