Care and Support Worker – Community
Location: Anglesea, Torquay, Jan Juc, Bells Beach, Bellbrae
Positions Vacant – Community Care Worker
Casual position available for Community Care Worker - Monday to Friday.
Requirements must be available mornings. Minimum availability must be three days.
Commitment to deliver quality care and services to older people in their own home and local community.
Minimum requirements:
Current police check
Current driver’s licence and comprehensive insured, reliable vehicle
Excellent people skills
Current First Aid Certificate will be paid for by employer
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or working towards this
Empathy and understanding of aged persons
Duties are varied but may include:
Domestic assistance (light house duties)
Personal care (bathing, dressing, undressing)
Social support (shopping, social outings, meal preparation)
Transport (medical appointments and outings).
