ALC operates as an NDIS provider we currently have opportunities for casual Support Workers across Metro and Regional Victoria. we support many unique individuals with a disability to lead independent lives which will assist engagement within the community and at the same time achieve all their life goals. Our ultimate goal is to maximize the independence and functional skills of participants to achieve the best quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Effective communication and engagement with participants.
- Outdoor activities: Geelong; Narre Warren; Hampton East; Brunswick Heights; Epping and the surrounding 10-kilometer radius – 3+ hours shifts
- One-on-one assistance, fostering positive relationships, and facilitating skill development.
- Monitor and document client progress, adhering to organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous Disability Support experience preferred.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check; Police Check; Working with Children Check.
- Driver’s license registered and insured car.
- First Aid and CPR training.
- NDIS Orientation and Infection Control Modules.
- Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support desirable.
- Medication administration certificate.
- Commitment to exceptional support and strong communication skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: $26.00 – $44.00 per hour
