As a Community Care Worker with us, you'll be part of a caring and dedicated team that prioritises the well-being of Seniors in our community. Your role will involve providing essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
We are currently seeking a part time (up to 20 hrs per week) Aged Care Community Care Worker. Will consider casual employment options.

The Role:
This role involves visiting clients in their own homes, supporting clients with community access, or engaging in various individual and group activities at our respite facilities. Services may include:
Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
Shopping and meal preparation, assist with light housekeeping
Respite and social support, share common interests and provide companionship
Community Access
You will be:
Reliable and trustworthy
An effective communicator
Compassionate with a positive attitude
Eager to learn and willing to embark on further training and development offered
Enjoy providing a quality service with a focus on attention to details
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous caregiving experience is a plus
Applicants must hold (or obtain through recruitment process):
Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
First Aid Certificate
Completed or in progress - Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification)
Assist with Clients Medication certification or willingness to attain
Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
Copy of driving record
Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
Working with Children Check Clearance
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including first booster
Available to work Monday to Friday
Hours and Shifts Available:
BCR Communities is a family friendly and flexible employer with a wide variety of shifts available with a mixture of mornings from 7am and afternoons/ evenings to 7pm.
