Mercy Community Services are on the search for Community Care Workers to join our team in Rockhampton.
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work with clients in their homes, following their care plans, to provide support and ensure their needs are met. We are seeking committed Care Workers to our clients in Rockhampton.
$28.27 - $30.11 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience
The role would include but not limited to:
- Assisting clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferences
- Supporting clients with transportation and community access
- Monitoring their condition and reporting on any changes in condition or behaviour
- Providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance including administering medication, manual handling and domestic assistance
About you:
- Certificate III in Individualised Support, working towards or the equivalent
- Have your own vehicle and a Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver’s Licence with comprehensive insurance and service history
- Experience working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations and/or Qualifications in Aged Care would be looked upon favourably
