About you
As a Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with various tasks to ensure their well-being and comfort.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Domestic Duties: Performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, emptying bins, fridges, and freezers, as outlined in the client's care plan.
- Laundry Assistance: Washing clothing, including hanging out to dry, folding, and ironing clothes to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Bed Linen Changes: Ensuring the client's comfort by changing bed linen as required, maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Personal Care Support: Assisting with showering, bathing, medication administration, feeding, toileting, grooming, and any other personal care needs specified in their Care Plan.
- Transport and Social Support: Providing support with community access, including transportation to appointments, social outings, and other activities as outlined in the client's care plan.t you.
Requirements:
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diligent adherence to care plans and instructions.
- Respect for client privacy and confidentiality.
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate clients' changing needs.
- Possession of a valid police clearance.
- Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support or willingness to undergo training.
