As a vital part of the Local Council's Aged & Disability Services, Community Care Workers assist residents who are frail aged, have a disability, or are primary carers, helping them to stay connected and safe within their homes and community.

- Weekly pay
- 4-5 days a week, 5 hours per day Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised domestic and personal care based on client care plans
- Assist clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Support social and community engagement for clients, ensuring their well-being
- Deliver community meals, adhering to dietary needs and food safety standards
- Safely transport clients, maintaining dignity and respect
- Monitor clients' health and report any concerns
About You:
- Must have a current National Criminal Records Check completed within the last 12 months or willing to undergo and maintain a new clearance
- Hold or are working towards a Certificate III in Community Welfare, Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability Care, Lifestyle Leisure, Allied Health, or Community Services/Development
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a strong focus on person-centred care
- Capable of respectful and sensitive delivery of personal care tasks
- Basic computer literacy and navigational skills for effective service delivery
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, and Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience with vulnerable community members and knowledge of Food Safety Practices preferred
