About the Community Engagement Team:
CFA's Community Engagement team drives and oversees a range of initiatives with the aim of leading and supporting engagement for safer communities. The team is responsible for multiple projects to support key fire safety messages and training opportunities regarding fire prevention and preparedness.
About the Role
We are seeking and Engagement Advisor to join the Community Engagement Team and play a key role in delivering the Team's business plan and support the implementation of project plans related to Content and Capability building.
Reporting to the Team Leader Engagement Content and Capability, this is a unique position with a dual purpose. You will review and develop Community EngagementContent and, support Community Engagement capability building for CFA members. This position requires a strong understanding of community safety Content and publication management expertise. Experience using Adobe Pro and PowerPoint will be highly advantageous to the role.

About You
- Experience in training or capability building in broader community-based sector.
- Experience in content design, publishing and/or publications management.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.
- Demonstrated achievements in collaborating with key stakeholders, through facilitation, consultation and negotiation to address complex issues.
- Experience in coordinating and delivering projects and an understanding of project management methodologies related to training or capability building.
- Well-developed organisational skills and ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands including print logistics and management.
