We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Community Liaison and Connections Worker to co-ordinate the smooth operations of Griffith Corps Food Bank, welfare services including logistics, setup and volunteer administration. Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week) role based in Griffith, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 2.

Please note that this role requires the successful applicant to lift boxes that weigh approximately 5 kg, onto the trolley as part of accepting the delivery of donations. You will successfully Co-ordinate preparation and delivery of activities for Food Bank. Setup community space by setting up tables, cleaning toilets and taking out rubbish.

Assist in the oversight of volunteer management. Assist and coordinate community activities and program. Engage in regular communication and collaboration with local agencies and services to strengthen the presence of Griffith Salvation Army within the community.

Organise Christmas Welfare hampers (including but not limited to collection, packing and distribution). You will have A NSW Driver Licence. A valid and current NSW

Working With Children Check. An understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing financial difficulties, homelessness, substance use disorders and mental health.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent organisational and time management skills. Experience in community services (highly regarded).
