Role Overview:
We are recruiting a Community Mental Health Worker to work within the Country Wellness Connections program in the Murraylands.
This role is classified at SCHADS Level 4, 0.6-0.8 FTE and based at Skylight Murray Bridge, servicing areas of the South Australian Murray Mallee region.
The Community Mental Health Worker will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the group program.
This will include working closely with staff and participants to promote recovery, inspire hope and facilitate a process wherein participants can;
- Build capacity and personal skills
- Identify their strengths and goals
- Build resilience
- Link in with people to help improve their wellbeing
- Connect with family or with community
- Enjoy a full and vibrant quality of life.
Requirements for Success
- Qualifications or experience relevant to mental health
- Sound knowledge and awareness of mental health challenges
- Capacity to work both autonomously and within teams
- Experience with person centred and recovery oriented frameworks
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs and relevant software
- Must have DHS Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
- Current SA Drivers Licence and willingness to use own vehicle
- Understanding of the NDIS
