About the Role:
We have an ongoing need for passionate, dedicated individuals who cares to make a difference in people’s lives. You will be committed to providing quality Personal Care delivering excellent services to our clients.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will:
- Be compassionate, reliable and respectful
- Assist with all areas of Personal Care including bathing/showering, hygiene, dressing, grooming, fitting of aids and eating meals
- Assist with domestic duties and other activities of daily living
- Comply with operational guidelines, and task directives
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Build rapport with families, team members and other stakeholders
- Able to drive from EAST to WEST - Paid driving hours using HOLICARE car.
- Very good documentation skills
Essentials:
- Three (3) years’ experience as a Personal Care Worker
- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual support
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Reasonable degree of physical fitness
- Guaranteed hours on short shifts and overnight shifts
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Current Police Clearance certificate
- Working with Vulnerable/ Aged care people specific check
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations including booster
- Manual Handling competency
