Harvest Physio Co. has built a solid reputation across SE QLD and TAS regions as a quality, patient-first provider in the Home Visit Physio Sector- especially working with neurological, ageing and disability clients. The Role: You choose: Independent Contractor or Part Time Employee
Contractor:
- ~$75-$100p/h
- 15-20 clinical hrs per week
- Immediate start available
Permanent Part Time Employee:
- 24-30 hours per week across 4 days
- Use of fully maintained company car for travel
- Phone and laptop for on the road notes and company communication
- Existing caseload ready to hit the road running

Qualifications, attributes & experience
- MUST be an AHPRA registered physiotherapist and able to work without limitations in Australia.
- Experience in Community Caseload, NDIS, Disability or Geriatric Care highly regarded.
- Maturity and adaptability
- Able to PRIORITISE and MANAGE OWN TIME on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Exceptional communication skills amongst a wide range of health professionals
- Experience to ensure safe patient handling and exemplary falls prevention via education, advisory and implementation.
- Eager to treat across a vast cross section of patient presentations and medical conditions- particularly Parkinson's Disease and other neurological, ageing and balance disorders.
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team who as a group is committed to quality improvement, sharing experiences and finding avenues of growth and passion.
Tasks & responsibilities
- A Community-based caseload which consists of home visits for complex conditions.
- We travel across the Gold Coast but strive to clump appointments together by locality to avoid extensive travel.
- Manage communication with patients, their family, support workers and our admin.
- Manage own diary, scheduling whilst getting support for communication with care managers/support coordinators.
- Providing exceptional Physio assessment and therapy to a diverse range of conditions, people and presentations.
- Advocating for patients through compiling recommendations and reports for their families, care coordinators and funding managers.
- Recognise opportunities for advocacy of our profession as they arise, and willingness to grab opportunities! ( Eg. Being asked to do an educational falls prevention talk with a clients care team, or offering your business card when a client mentions another family member who might need some physio help)
