About the Role
- The successful candidate will provide care within the community nursing team, in a community Nursing / Surgical Nursing position.
- The role will be rotating throughout the year between various areas of Armidale, Uralla, and outpatient clinic environments.
- Amongst various clinical skills, you will perform basic and complex wound care, catheter care and management of central venous access devices in the community.
- A confident Registered Nurse with a passion for comprehensive care and wound management is essential.
- You will understand the impact of complex chronic conditions on health and will collaborate with a wide range of specialist community health services to promote healing and well-being.
- The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for their patients and will liaise between acute services and primary health.
- Confidence to work autonomously in people’s homes and driving a fleet car for work is a must.
You will be a lifelong learner and excellent communicator who will thrive in a small team of experienced Registered Nurses.

To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
