We are looking for Registered Nurses who can work well with a team of clinical and disability support staff to provide complex health and personal care for a NDIS participant living in their home.
We are seeking someone who;
- comes with fantastic communication and relationship skills.
- is positive and thorough.
- has a view to a permanent part-time conversion later on.
This role will:
- Work with a team of Disability Support Workers and allied health,who are providing 24/7 services to a participant with high intensity support needs in a ratio of up to 2:1.
- Provide complex daily care needs includes, but is not limited to, clinical care in the areas of;
- medication management
- bowel care
- PEG feeding
- airways support, CPAP, suctioning, and O2 therapy management
- incontinence care
- seizure management
- wound and pressure care management
- pain management.
- Respond to incidents and conduct incident reporting and monitoring to deliver and maintain best practice.
- Implement support care plans to meet the changing health needs of the participant, according to medical and allied health professional recommendations
Essential qualifications and requirements include:
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse without restrictions
- Minimum three years experience as an RN
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate – annually/CPR annually;
- if relevant, International Police Checks (If you have worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years)
- COVID19 Vaccincation - within the last 12mths
- Influenza Vaccination – 2024.
Desirable skills, experience and qualifications include:
- Accredited RN Epilepsy Management training
- Completion of additional NDIS modules
- Five years RN experience in a variety of settings
- NDIS Orientation and Worker Clearance
- Willingness to complete the Safe Vehicle Driving Assessment for large vehicles.

- We are fully compliant with the national Nurses Award, MA000034, with all penalties and shift loadings + an above award amount - dependant on qualifications and experience. Displayed minimum day to night incl.loadings and $8 above award/hr.
