You have at least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with advanced clinical skills, great communication ability, and - most importantly - an infallibly kind nature.
You have recent experience providing care to clients with complex physical needs.
You have recent experience in the community sector (excellent, but not essential!) or hospital-based, aged care, and acute care nursing skills. (These will also be highly valuable in this role!).

You are willing and able to work a rotating roster of Morning and Evening shifts to achieve clinical leadership coverage 7 days a week.

You have a reliable vehicle and current drivers license

You are comfortable with a busy, dynamic team-environment, and prepared to alter your shift tasks according to current client and business needs.
You have the following current documentation to bring to your interview:
National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector) - issued within the past 3 years
Working With Children Check (WWCC - for paid work)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion

First Aid and CPR Certificate
Qualifications

What your Job Responsibilities will be:
Based at our Wallsend care hub, you will be joining a team of experienced Registered Nurses to grow our Care Ambassador Leadership Team, directly supporting and reporting to the Care Designers (Senior Clinical RN Managers).
You will be part of a 7 day rotating roster of AM and PM 6-8hr shifts. This will include
Public Holiday Coverage. You will be required to complete a minimum 4 shifts per week.
You will be required to attend billable visits for minimum 50% of your work hours
(KPI), which may be a combination of caregiving and nursing visits.
Filling last minute Vacant Visits
Provide mentorship and onsite training to the Caregiving team to constantly elevate the level of care provided by Nurse Next Door
Attending introductory ‘First Visits’ with new team members
Conducting regular check in (Supervisory) visits with clients
Providing assistance to monitor and deliver stock to client homes
Working with the Care Designer, create and modify client care plans, according to new and changing care needs
Participating in client care initiatives
Attending to Nursing client care (within scope of practice)
Liaising with and responding to caregiver concerns about their clients as clinical “on-call”
Communicating effectively with our Care Services Centre and our Care Designer
(RN) team
Developing and nurturing relationships with caregivers and clients
Complete our mandatory internal e-learning and competency programmes in the timeframe allocated to you, and monitor Caregiver compliance of same
Detecting and reporting any concerns outside of your scope to your direct report - Care Designer (RN).
