AddressPart-Time Community Nurse
Location: Central Brisbane Area (starting in Morningside)
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 1:30pm) Potential for additional hours
Salary: $85,000 pro rata + superannuation + standard leave entitles with 4 mental health days + paid professional development
About the role:
Your primary role will involve community nursing run in the morning and then working form the office in petrie terrace (free on street parking available). You will work closely with management to assist with overseeing our clients needs/ scheduling appointments and conducting assessments. We are seeking someone that is confident in their practice and can work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to clients in the Central Brisbane area.
- Work predominantly in the office, assisting with reports and supporting client coordinators.
- Conduct in-depth assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Manage catheters, wounds, and diabetes care.
- Educate and mentor support workers, ensuring best practices in client care.
- Confidently liaise with multidisciplinary teams and represent the company in various settings.
- Effectively manage small teams to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with valid registration.
- Proven experience in community care nursing.
- Expertise in managing catheters, wounds, and diabetes care.
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and creating comprehensive care plans.
- Experience in educating and supporting care teams.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Ability to confidently liaise with multidisciplinary teams and represent the company professionally.
- Experience with the NDIS is preferred
