We are currently seeking for a Community Relations Advisor on behalf of our client based in Brisbane CBD. This role works cross-functionally primarily to design and deliver initiatives that educate and engage community audiences.
About the role:
As the Community Relations Advisor you will:
- Develop and deliver Community Relations initiatives, such as education programs and public open days, working with project management frameworks to ensure consistency and quality of stakeholder interactions.
- Act as key advisor on community education campaigns, providing strategic and tactical support.
- Manage the community investment strategy and program, providing high level governance oversight and business support.
- Manage the development of written and visual material, social media content and corporate collateral to support initiatives.
- Produce clear and effective communication materials for community stakeholders and contribute to other materials including Ministerial briefing notes, advertisements, brochures and web content.
- Coordinate responses to stakeholder, media and community enquiries to ensure accurate, timely and consistent communication.
As an experienced Community Relations Advisor you will have:
- Demonstrated Implementing behaviour change/education initiatives
- Demonstrated event planning and execution
- Developed and executed impactful engagement and communication strategies
- Produced high quality written and oral communication for a range of audiences
- Worked in regional communities and resources and infrastructure sectors
- A degree in communication, public relations or related discipline
- IPA2 accreditation preferred
- ASAP Start Date
- 6 Months Assignment with possible perm
- Brisbane CBD location
