The Shire of Mundaring has an opportunity to join our Community Safety and Emergency Management team as a Community Safety Ranger. The role involves a range of activities including educating and applying the relevant Acts, Regulations and Local Laws as authorised. This will include operation of the pound facility, and an after-hours service in accordance with service procedures and Shire policies.
The successful candidate will have well developed time management and conflict resolution skills and an ability to interpret relevant legislation. This diverse role covers all aspects of ranger operations working in partnership with the community and other stakeholders.
A salary in the range of $80,910 - $85,360 will be offered based on ability and experience. Work rosters include weekend work and on-call periods with additional allowances.
