How you’ll make a difference
Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Community Services Program Supportbased in Katherine, NT.
Under the direction of the Community Services Regional Manager this role has a focus to provide data collection and administrative support to the Community Services Program.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide overall office support to all staff in communities working with people supported by the NATSIFAC, Home Care Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- Ensure that tasks are performed efficiently, professionally and within deadlines across all the Community Services sites under VicDaly Shire.
- Execute preparation of delegated word processing tasks such as letters, memos, case notes, training materials, reports, and prepare photocopying, collation and binding of materials or reports as required.
- Maintain Community Services Registers such as Chemical Register, PPE Register, Visitor Sign in/out Register and appropriate suppliers and stock list for ordering of client consumables and equipment.
- Record Community Service Monthly Staff Meeting minutes and distributing to staff in a timely manner including providing weekly update/meeting notes to the Community Services Regional Coordinator on progress of actions.
- Organise weekly team meeting via TEAMS with each Community Services team leader and get an update on vehicles, assets, IT issues and or service delivery needs.
- Travel out to remote communities when required to support staff.
- Ensuring all current and updated forms and policies are uploaded in LOGIC QMS and uploading weekly service delivery sheets, weekly vehicle checklist, fridge temperatures and building reports in LOGIC QMS.
- Support the Community Services Regional Coordinator to regularly review, update, and develop individual Consumer profiles as required in Etools to maintain and manage all data bases, files, reports, forms.
- Support the Community Service Team Leaders with completion of compliant Shift Reports for the Community Services Quality and Compliance Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Support the Community Services team to complete participants and consumer individual plans, agreements, and assessments by supporting and communicating with teams and the people we support. Community Services Program
- Support the Community Services Finance and Assets Officer by overseeing the program’s facilities and vehicles to ensure compliance obligations are met with minimal service interruption as possible.
- Assist the Community Services Regional Manager in collating information to finalise all quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports.
- Ensure Shift Reports, Meal Reports and Incident Reports are completed for all rostered services and management of evidence for claiming and compliance purposes.
- Ensure the policies and procedures of the council are adhered to and all resources are effectively deployed.
- Carry out any other duties as required and directed by the Community Services Regional Coordinator or Community Services Regional Manager.

What you’ll bring to the team
To qualify, candidates will need extensive experience in performing administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality, ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
