About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals over the age of 65 in the Devonport community and surrounding areas Experience variety by visiting clients in their homes within the Devonport region covering surrounding areas such as Latrobe, Shearwater, Ulverstone, Spreyton, Sheffield Enjoy secure permanent part-time employment with guaranteed hours depending on your availability. Preferred availability from Monday to Friday, however availability on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week is must for this role. Receive a base hourly rate of $29.85 plus superannuation and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging. Who We’re Looking for : We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others with a key focus to provide high-quality person-centred care across all facets of support services along such as Domestic Assistance, cleaning, personal care, showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, maintaining hygiene and social support. To do so you will need to have the following: Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly Minimum of Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent) Medication assist module is desirable Current drivers licence A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smart phone or tablet A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain Flexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday- Availability on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday is essential for this role.
