Gnalla Community is a newly established business in WA, NDIS provider, that supports people with disabilities offering a variety of services. The business is on the look of a Community Support Worker to play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities by providing essential support and resources and to be able to work on full time basis and performing the following:
- Evaluating the requirements of clients and devising, organizing, and executing educational, training, and assistance initiatives
- Conducting assessments to understand the needs and challenges of clients within the community.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress and making referrals to agencies for supplementary support
- Assessing the community's needs and available resources related to health, welfare, housing, employment, training, and various facilities and services
- Collaborating with community groups, government bodies, welfare organizations, and private businesses to address community concerns and enhance awareness of available resources and services
- Providing support to families and offering education and care for children and disabled individuals in various settings, such as adult service units, group housing, and government institutions.The right applicant will have at least 2 years of work experience in the role, great communication and listening skills, will be emphatic and maintain a positive attitude and professional ethic. Applicant must have current AU driver's license and reliable car.
