About the Role
Provide one on one, in-home and community access support to people with disability living in the Sutherland Shire.
The successful candidate will live locally in the Sutherland Shire for early morning (6:30am or 7:30am) starts, with short shifts of up to 2 hours. You will have previous experience providing support to people with psychosocial disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily living (including personal care where needed)
- Community access and transport (with the use of your own vehicle)
- Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
- Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
- Documenting and progress note keeping
- Forster meaningful relationships with clients and their families
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability
- Australian Drivers Licence and insured, reliable vehicle
- Willing to complete basic household chores
- Experience in providing personal care
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate
