Community Support Worker - Hunter Region

POSITION:

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Community Support Workers – Aged & Disability to apply for Community Support Worker position/s to our clients living independently in their own homes across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Region.

We are seeking Community Support Workers for our clients who live in Kurri Kurri, New Lambton and Cessnock areas.

Specifically, we are looking for female worker/s with an availability on Thursdays and Fridays to start ASAP. Morning and afternoon shifts.  Casual employment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting our clients who live in their own home/s with activities of daily living, domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support and personal care.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience in either aged care or community.
• A valid driver's licence and own vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate (mandatory).
• Current Police Check (mandatory).
• NDIS Worker screening check.
• Working with Children Check.
