Currently, we are looking for 2 x Permanent Part TimeCommunity Support Workersto help our clients in our ever-growing, gorgeously stunning landscape of Byron and the seascape town of Ballina NSW
The Role:
You will be out and about in the community, working with clients to achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You will provide a range of services to our valued clients, including:
- Assisting clients with personal care services (Hygiene/showering & general grooming)
- Transporting clients to and from appointments
- Supporting with domestic cleaning
- Preparing light meals
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $31.27 p/hour + 11% superannuation.
- Tax-Free Benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a. + Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax).
- Travel Reimbursement: 96c per km.
- Equipment: Smartphone and specific tools provided.
- Support: Full rostering and administrative support for appointment management.
- Professional Development: Training opportunities and career advancement.
- Parental Leave: 9 weeks paid (for eligible applicants)
About You:
- Are passionate about working with the Elderly - love hearing their stories and want to be apart of their journey.
- Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability + hold the transcript (modules you completed with the certificate)
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one)
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence and your own registered and insured vehicle
- Travel: Are happy for travel times to up to 45mins to an hour for our clients.
Minimum 3 weekdays and preferred some weekend availability ie every second if not all for one of the applicants.
Weekend shifts also can include Lismore as part of shift but travel would be covered in paid service hours and km
