Your New Role:
Reporting to the business owners you will lead the charge, overseeing all accounting and administration functions. Responsibilities include:
- Manage a team of 4+ responsible for Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Stock Control, and Month End processes.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, planning, and management including monthly accounts preparation with insightful commentary, financial forecasts, budgets, reconciliations, and cash flow analysis.
- Manage BAS, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG, and ad hoc reporting projects and modelling.
- Actively identify system improvements to enhance financial and operational performance.
About You:
- Qualifications: CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading an accounting team of a similar size with a strong focus on development.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MYOB and Excel; familiarity with Castaway software is highly regarded.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent time management and organizational skills, proactive, quick thinker with a results and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing or retail is highly regarded.
