This broad and challenging role would suit a commercially astute, pragmatic CFO who will partner with the CEO and Board to play a key role in driving the company’s growth.
Leading an experienced, long standing, and capable finance and accounting team, which consistently delivers accurate and complete financial reports and statements, the role focuses on value adding activities including, driving corporate finance and capital management strategies, particularly as they relate to existing joint ventures and corporate development opportunities, as well as financial modelling and analysis for new business ventures and opportunities. The role also shares company secretarial responsibilities alongside the General Counsel and contributes to the development and implementation of governance policies and practises, including risk management and assurance processes.
We are looking for a confident individual with demonstrated ability to navigate the complexities of public company financial analysis, audit assurance accountability, regulatory reporting and stakeholder management. You will be risk conscious without being risk averse, with the ability to influence and provide strategic financial leadership to drive business decisions and support the organisation to achieve its ambitious goals.
To be successful you will have appropriate tertiary and contemporary accounting/financial qualifications and accreditation and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CFO, ideally gained in an ASX listed environment. You will possess a mature, yet energetic approach with a focus on achieving results. With excellent communication and presentation skills, you will be capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholder groups and possess demonstrated ability to make business decisions based on sound judgment and analysis. Previous experience as a Company Secretary is preferred.
