With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Compliance & HR Manager.
Responsibilities:
As the Compliance & HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company maintains its commitment to quality, food safety, and environmental sustainability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supporting the Company Management Team in maintaining the Quality and Food Safety program across all areas of the business and at all sites.
- Coordinating the Quality Management System (QMS) calendar, scheduling events, and managing staff training programs.
- Reviewing and editing staff job descriptions to incorporate Work Health and Safety, Quality, and Food Safety responsibilities.
- Conducting internal company audits for Work Health and Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environment.
- Participating in company audits including ISO22000, NAB, Halal, Green Food, Kosher, and others as necessary.
- Managing the document register and maintaining control over master versions of controlled documents.
- Reviewing non-conformance issues, conducting investigations, and identifying root causes.
- Managing staff accountability for HACCP, Work Health and Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environment.
- Maintaining external contractor registries, including insurance, licenses, and certifications.
- Conducting contractor inductions on company-operated sites.
- Reporting on the Quality and Food Safety program to the Management team monthly and to shareholders on a triannual basis.
- Recording and reporting on QMS staff training programs to the Management team monthly.
Personal Development & Training:
As part of this role, ongoing learning and development in HACCP, Work Health and Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environment will be required.
There is also room for development within other parts of the business, assisting in Administration & Export Logistics Coordination.
Qualifications:
Experience in the grain industry is preferred, but NOT essential.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills within your role, and within the business.
