Why your Role Matters
Joining a newly created Quality and Compliance function within the broader HR team, this role will be integral in driving the implementation of robust, fit for purpose compliance practices university wide.
As HR Quality and Compliance Consultant you'll offer specialist advice, guidance and training to HR and wider stakeholders on compliance, policy interpretation and practical implementation. Taking a big picture approach, you will use workforce data to actively monitor controls on a range of compliance matters to proactively mitigate areas of risk and ensure ongoing compliance and seamless integration of processes in stakeholders day to day practices.
Reporting to the Head of HR Quality and Compliance, you will be working alongside another HR Quality and Compliance Consultant as well as several HR Quality and Compliance Officers to effectively and proactively manage compliance assurance across HR systems and processes, with a key focus to continuously improve their application and usability.
Who you are: We're looking for a confident HR/ER professional with the ability to balance the universities compliance requirements but also consider business operational needs. You will hold:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with either legal, employee relations or HR experience
- Working knowledge of workplace legislation and regulations
- Ability to build and fostering effective working relationships and provide trusted compliance related advice and guidance.
- High level communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience in utilising, interpreting and applying data to drive informed decisions.
