Form of workOur client is a nationally and internationally recognised organic certification organisation who is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team. Their certification services covers the entire supply chain from farming and processing through to packaging and export. This is an office based, permanent full-time role and will have 6 direct reports. This role is ideal for someone who has senior level ISO accredited operational experience.
Duties:
- Maintaining the quality management system
- Managing the delivery of certification programs to clients
- Liaise with related industry partners on new certification programs
- Investigation of compliance related complaints
- Providing training and technical support to other staff members and contractors
- Performance reviews on certified staff and contractors
- Report and data analysis
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Food Science/ Agricultural Science or a related discipline
- Previous experience working in a ISO accredited operational environment
- In depth knowledge of internal auditing
- Exceptional technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience managing a team
- Work as part of a recognised global organisation
- Work across a wide range of industries – wine, food, beverage, farming, cosmetics
