The Development and Environmental Compliance team is responsible for investigating complaints and resolving non-complying and illegal land use activities as it relates to development, swimming pool safety and Environmental protection.
About the role:
- We are currently seeking a Team Leader for the Development and Environmental Compliance team to supervise and lead staff and to effectively assist the team in service delivery.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Extensive experience in applying and enforcing related legislation in relation to a range of development, swimming pool and Environmental Compliance issues.
- Experience in supervising and motivating staff to achieve optimum levels of effectiveness.
- Hold a current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Certificate IV in Regulatory Services or Certificate IV Government (Investigations).
- Expert knowledge of regulatory enforcement tools, investigation techniques and the collection and giving of evidence.
