We are looking for a Compliance Officer to establish and maintain the Compliance Framework via the online system to enhance the efficient business operations.About the role:
- Responsible for monitoring the Insurance operations plus the Authorised Representative Division, ensuring adherence to the companies Compliance Standards.
- Provide assistance in relation to research and reports as requested.
- Maintain and manage the CCX360 and ERM Online and address all the Compliance items that come up for review.
- Ensure that the Compliance System is working efficiently within all the following fields:
- Client Service
- Corporate Governance
- Financial Management
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Compliance Management
- Risk Management
- Instigate any changes that may need to occur to the Company Policies and Principles in relation to Compliance.
- Work closely with all staff members.
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
- Preferably more than 12 months of experience in a role within the Insurance Industry, Legal Profession, or similar.
- Preferably sound understanding of the Australian Financial Services Reform Act.
- Computer literate with sound computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A typing speed of at least 35wpm with a high degree of accuracy.
- Friendly, proactive attitude and the ability to fit into a diverse team.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Great attention to detail.
- Flexible attitude towards duties.
- Able to learn and keep up to date with industry training standards.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of office procedures.
- Be willing to undertake training and achieve accreditation as required.
