About the Opportunity at Legrand

Are you ready to elevate your career? Legrand is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as an Area Manager Metro (South) with a small regional allocation visiting 3-4 times per year depending on the regional requirements and reporting to the W.A Sales Manager. As a pivotal member of our sales team, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth for Legrand products through Wholesale Channel Partners, Electrical Contractors, and End Users within your defined territory.

Responsibilities:

  • identify and research potential and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities
  • develop and expand sales with Wholesale Channel partners, Electrical Contractors, and End Users
  • create specific plans for both short and long-term growth, striving to meet or surpass corporate-set goals
  • provide training on Legrand products and collaborate with management to execute sales strategies
  • ensure clear communication of sales practices, maintain regular call cycles, and foster relationships with Legrand stakeholders
  • complete Salesforce reporting promptly and assist with additional duties as needed

We are looking for proactive, target-driven individuals with exceptional sales expertise and relationship-building skills. Key qualifications include:

  • previous experience in the electrical or building industry is advantageous
  • demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, implementing strategies, and meeting KPIs
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities
  • sales and account management ability
  • effective time management skills for controlling daily, weekly, and monthly activities
  • computer literacy
  • customer service skills
  • self-motivation and achievement orientation
  • a diligent work ethic and a valid Australian driver's licence
