About the role
In the Compliance Trainer position you will be reporting to the Safety Manager on this Iconic Iron Ore Project located in the Pilbara region of WA. This is a casual role working on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Your primary responsibility in this position will be to deliver comprehensive training packages to the site, conducting Verifications of Competencies, as well as providing support into the development and continuous review of our MinRes Training Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and assess MinRes personnel in the safe and efficient operation of Surface Mobile Equipment.
- Facilitate training and assessment (Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Familiarisations, Site based training presentations etc to meet site needs in accordance with the MinRes Training System
- Develop training packages.
- Build key relationships with site-based management teams to ensure their training needs are met.
- Promote and support the MinRes Training Standards and Processes.
- Upload completed training documentation into LMS
- Demonstrated experience working in a training role, within a busy, remote construction / mining environment is crucial.
About you
- Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the construction / mining resource industry.
- Possess a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116).
- RTO Accreditation considered favourably.
- Experience with the development of training packages to National Standards.
- Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Competent in operating and training a variety of heavy mobile machinery including dump trucks, loaders, etc.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel and Word).
- Training Management System experience (INX- InTuition desirable).
- Valid HR drivers’ licence.
- Current MC Licence preferred.
